I never really liked country music at all (I actually hated it..), until the end of senior year in high school. Somehow for some unknown reason I started listening to it on the radio, and I was hooked. The lyrics were fun and were perfect summer time. My favorite country band is Lady Antebellum. They recently came out with a new cd, which I got the day it came out (plus it came with a T-SHIRT!!)
I play the cd in the car ALL THE TIME. My friends used to say "ughhh why are we listening to this?", when we would get in the car. However, they now actually sing-a-long, and like it!!! They say I have "brainwashed" them, but I think that they have just grown to like it, because they really do love it now.
I think the reason I love this genre so much is because when I hear the songs, and listen to the lyrics, I feel like I am back at home.

haha I'm so glad...I love country music!! Country is great to listen to on a long road trip. My absolute favorite singer is Brad Paisley he's really cute and always has the best songs. I hope you learn to love it as much as I do.
